About The Blog

Welcome to Hella Ella! My blog is, you guessed it, all about me and my adventures. I've always wanted to start a blog and now that I'm going away to college, this felt like a good way to keep people up to date on my life. Join the mailing list to keep up to date!

The name's Ella (obviously). I just finished my freshman year at the University of Arizona. Im a Psychology and Creative Writing double major. In my free time, I default to watching tv or youtube, but I also enjoy reading, scrapbooking, and playing video games. I am a huge Potterhead (Harry Potter fan), and my Hogwarts House is Hufflepuff. I also enjoy collecting various items, like Funko Pops.

Q & A

Favorite Movie and TV Show?

My favorite movies are Tangled and Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire. My favorite show is Anne with an E on Netflix. Stranger Things is a close second.

Favorite Youtuber and Streamer?

While I've been an avid youtube watcher my whole life, its become more special to me these past few years with the pandemic. I like watching gaming and movie commentaries and reviews. My favorite YouTubers are Tommyinnit, Sidemen, and DylanisinTrouble.

What types of books do I like to read?

I generally only read Young Adult Fiction. I especially love romance, but also enjoy reading coming of age, mystery, and dystopian novels. I've been getting into fantasy more recently as well.

What are my future plans?

My end goal is to be an author and write tons of young adult novels.

Do I have any pets?

Yes! I have 3 cats at my moms house: Luna, Smokey, and Cupcake. I love cats and purrfect snuggles, but I happen to also be allergic, so life is hard...

Why the University of Arizona?

The most obvious reason: the sun. I hate the Seattle weather. I don't like the rain or the cold and I hate the seasonal depression. I love sun, summer, and being tan. The sun suites me better.
Futhermore, I wanted the chance to become really independent. The closer I was to home, the easier it is to rely on the people there and not really try to find my own way. Leaving home pushes me out of my comfort zone and will allow my to grow in the best way.
